Using the Data Editor

The Editor is what makes TableForge unique. It allows you to refine the data and apply fixes before export.

Editing Cells

Click any cell to edit its content. Changes are saved instantly to your session state. This is perfect for fixing OCR typos (e.g., '1' vs 'I').

Column Operations

Hover over any column header to see available tools:

• Duplicate: Creates a copy of the column. Useful if you need to split data (e.g., "First Last Name" -> "First" and "Last").
• Delete: Removes the column entirely.

Row Operations

Hover over the row number on the left to reveal the Delete Row button. Use this to remove page headers, footers, or disclaimer text that was accidentally parsed as data.

Undo / Redo

The top toolbar keeps a history of your actions. Feel free to experiment with splits and deletes; you can always step back.
